Bye Bye Blackie...

Well I did it! Yesterday I sold "Blackie"...my 2003 Porsche 986 (only 9900 miles...many of those miles WAY over the posted speed limit!). I have a checklist of things to do before we leave Kemah this December for some extended cruising. Selling the Porsche was one of the biggies for me. I purchased this car new when we were still living in Ohio. Since I traveled extensively for work, "Blackie" spent most of his time under a cover in the garage. As sick as it sounds, I LOVED THIS CAR!       

I guess selling this car really makes our cruising plans seem more real. It's amazing...almost overwhelming...taking care of all of the details. I do have a Pre-departure Checklist of everything required. It seems like this checklist is getting longer instead of shorter! More on "The List" later.
